The Bookstore is managed and staffed, for the most part, by faithful volunteers. Jo Ann Kerr is the bookstore manager.  We look forward to serving you!

Spend the day on the grounds, take a trip to a nearby town for some shopping, or plan a day-trip out to a local provincial or national park. There’s lots to do during your stay at MBC!

MBC food services are second to none! The price:quality ratio is unequaled in the Muskoka’s. Special diets are not a problem. Banquets and special events can be catered here on the grounds. Give us a call for more information at 1-800-551-0168. (see more information here)

MBC has a full size gym featuring 2 basketball/volleyball courts and both men’s and women’s change rooms with shower facilities. The on-site sports and activiites include a climbing wall, mini-golf course, BMX bike course, 2 tennis courts, 2 shuffleboard courts, 2 outdoor volleyball courts and tons of room to run and play!

Up to 6 large rooms are available for meetings. Our main chapel seats 1000. Other rooms seat groups of between 2 and 150 each. A/V equipment and sound technician is available for a fee.

One of the highlights of MBC’s summer activity program! Our beach offers a wonderful sandy playground for children and lots of room for adults to stretch out and relax. There’s a fire pit, large grassy section, and a roped-off swimming area.

Please Note – MBC does not provide a lifeguard at any time. Also, so as to be considerate of others, we request modest attire at all times at the beach.

Marina

Mary Lake is connected to several other larger lakes via the Muskoka River. Enjoy cruising to these areas but keep your boat in our safe and secure marina.

Our Marina is open during the summer season. During this time our Marina offers a wide variety of activities from canoeing, and kayaking to boat launching and water skiing.  Everything you need is right here.

Boat Slips

There are 4 boat temporary boat slips available in the Marina that guests can rent for a maximum of 2 weeks at a time. Please call to reserve your boat slip in advance.

Prices:

• Boat Slips Daily – $25.00 (includes all launches and removals)
• Boat Slips Weekly – $125.00 (includes all launches and removals)

MBC has over 200 acres of beautiful Muskoka landscape for you to enjoy. Go for a walk in our expansive woods, play some tennis, baseball, or beach volleyball. There’s lots to do at MBC!

If you have a tent, camper, or motorhome, come and visit our family campground. Included in the price is: electricity, pure drinking water connection, picnic table, shower building and dumping station. Our store offers many of the items you might need during your stay and our staff will be happy to serve you.

Summer Activities

Summer at MBC is a great time! Besides what is available on the grounds, there are a host of activities in the surrounding area.

• Algonquin Park offers countless trails for hiking and biking and hundreds of lakes for canoeing, kayaking and camping.
• Huntsville is a wonderful country town – there are activities all summer long.
• Bracebridge is host to Santa’s Village – a year round attraction the kids will love!
• There are area festivals throughout the summer. This link will take you to Ontario Tourism.

Winter Activities

You name it! On grounds, we have tubing, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing and of course, you can always have a great snowball fight! Within an hour of MBC there are 6 ski hills with all the amenities.

Pets

Please make arrangements to have your pets cared for off site during your stay at MBC to respect the ‘no pets on grounds’ policy.

Meals are an excellent opportunity to enjoy fellowship and conversation. Whether you are enjoying time with your family or meeting someone new, we are committed to providing a warm, friendly atmosphere for your enjoyment.

Dining Room

Breakfasts and dinners are served in our Windows dining room, buffet style.  Take in the view of beautiful Mary Lake as you enjoy your meal.

Sunday morning our dining room opens at 11:00 a.m. for our famous brunch that serves continuously until 1:30. A Continental breakfast can be purchased in our Hub before Sunday morning chapel.

Join us Sunday evening for Pizza Pasta Night! A real highlight of the week for families!

Something NEW this year, our Saturday Night Big BBQ! A great community event for the whole family, and a great value as well, only $5.00 per person.  Your little ones 4 and under eat for free! The Windows dining room will be closed Saturday night to allow us all to participate.

Hub

Guests are invited to enjoy our Hub, where you can purchase everything from Ice Cream to Taco Salads, Cinnamon buns to Cappuccinos, Wraps to French Fries! If you haven’t eaten at the Hub lately, this is the year for you to enjoy! Sit outside on our beautiful deck overlooking Mary Lake, or inside in the air conditioned café.

After chapel the Hub is the place to be to renew friendships and fellowship with the MBC family. . . and have that scoop of Kawartha Ice cream you have been longing for all winter!

Beachside Grill

Enjoying the beach and you don’t want to pack up the kids to go get lunch? Then the Beachside Grill is for you!  Opening at 11 daily, offering up hamburgers, cheeseburgers, sausages, hotdogs and of course “Fresh Cut Fries”.  Have a seat on our new deck, and enjoy the scenery!

• Villa – (with view of gardens) Spacious with garden view, 2 queen beds, 4 pc. bath. NO STEPS. Some rooms available for handicapped if needed.
• Lodge – Panoramic view of lake and river. 2 double beds, 4 pc. bath.
• Lakeview Motel – View of lake, 1 double bed or 1 queen bed, 3 pc. bath. NO STEPS.
• Lakeview Motel Suites – View of lake, 2 rooms, 1 queen bed, 1 sofa bed, 3 pc. bath.
• Cottages – Picture window and balcony, 3 bedrooms and 3 pc. bath (shower only).




Housekeeping Cottages – we also have 2 HK Cottages featuring linen service, fully equipped kitchens and more.  Guests booking these are not required to purchase a meal plan.

• Summerset A is our largest unit and has four bedrooms, including one master bedroom with en-suite 2 piece bath.  Three bedrooms have double/twin bunk beds.
• Summerset B is perfect for couples with a full kitchen, living room area and separate bedroom with queen size bed and a 4 piece bath.
