There are a number of new faces on the speaker’s list this summer. We hope you plan on spending some time being refreshed and renewed under their teaching. Empowering women with tools of truth for their journey of love, obedience and service to Jesus Christ. Offering spring and fall retreats with dynamic speakers, worship, fun, time in the Word and fellowship.

During the summer conference we meet for a time of coffee and fellowship. Bringing women together to be ministered to according to their needs.

Come And Find Encouragement.

Our Women of Grace Summer Cafe is just the place to find encouragement. Each Monday following morning chapel meet with us in Windows Dining Room. We spend time visiting over a cup of coffee and listening as someone shares from her heart.

We’re looking forward to our next Men’s Breakaway retreat in September 2010 (Sept 10 – 12).

Herbie Kuhn, voice of the Raptors, will join us for an AMAZING time of camaraderie and inspiration.

Best known as the voice of the NBA’s Toronto Raptors, Herbie Kuhn is a dedicated husband, father and Christian. He’s found happiness by combining his passion for sports, his gift of public speaking and his desire to serve his Lord.

What to Expect at a Men’s Breakaway Retreat:

We start on Friday with Supper and finish Sunday after lunch. It’s man food where the veggies are mostly just for colour and so we can tell our wives we ate a few. You can look forward to: strong Bible teaching – four sessions, powerful worship in music, interaction with other Christian men, golfing, a jam session, gym sports, climbing wall at Widji and more.

Men are different…

Men enjoy getting together to do things
Problem solving for men is all about solving the problem!
Men hate reading the manuals for the furniture that needs to be put together – but can spend hours pouring over manuals for cars they will never own

Once a year (for now), we want to take you away from the craziness of work and the balancing act of life – so you can re-focus and re-tool on what is really important – 1. God – 2. Family – 3. Work

PACKAGES start at $180 (not including potential discounts)

Meal Plan (includes Friday dinner through to Sunday lunch – heavy on the meat): $82.48
Program Fee (includes access to all program events, including one of paintball, golf or fishing excursions): $50
Accommodation (depends on choice)
- Ritzy resort rooms (villa, motel): double occupancy – $109 for 2 nights, per person (put 4 guys in = $54.50 for 2 nights, per person)
- Lodge resort rooms: double occupancy – $99 for 2 nights, per person (put 4 guys in = $49.50 for 2 nights, per person)
- Cottages (various choices, as low as $47.60 for 2 nights, per person – if you put 5 guys in the cottage! Total cost of cottage for 2 nights = $238)

Early Birds (register and pay before June 30th, 2010 and get $10 off total invoice!
GROUPS! Get a $200 Voucher towards another registration with every 10 registrations.

All that being said – if you get on the ball and register 10 guys or more and pay before June 30th and book into one of the cottages – the best price you can get is $159 (plus applicable taxes) not including the $200 Voucher group incentive. It WILL be worth it!

Retreats

Nestled in the heart of Ontario’s Muskoka region, the conference grounds overlook Mary Lake – a pristine setting for you to rest, relax and recharge. Situated on over 200 acres, MBC has 55 guest accommodations

ranging from motel style rooms to family cottages. Many of the rooms overlook the lake. The grounds have a number of trails for hiking, a wonderful beach, a marina, full-size gym and much more (check out the facilities link to the left)

MBC is a popular destination for retreat groups. As such, the conference weekends are typically booked up to a year or more in advance. To increase your chance of getting a desired date, please book early.

During fall, winter, and spring, MBC remains open to accommodate numerous types of retreats (private groups are able to book at MBC between Labour Day and June 30th (exact dates may vary by year).

There are plenty of opportunities for you to enjoy these seasons at MBC. The fall begins with retreats organized especially for seniors. During the winter, we support a variety of church and para-church groups for their retreat purposes.

Special ministry retreats are the focus of our spring season. These retreats are available for pastors, couples, families, and church workers.
