In our pursuit of developing MBC into a ‘THRIVING’ Kingdom ministry organization, we have retained a candidate to fulfill the role of Chief Financial Officer at MBC. This candidate is Jamie Bell. Jamie comes to us from Algonquin Automotive where he fulfilled the role of Vice President – Finance. Previously he served as Director of Finance with Kraft Canada Inc.
Not only does he come well qualified for the role, he comes with a passion for God’s Kingdom work and is excited to use his gifts to contribute to what God is doing through Muskoka Bible Centre. He is married to Tara and together they are enjoying raising their two children in the Huntsville area.
Jamie will be overseeing the administrative, financial and risk management systems of Muskoka Bible Centre as well as Fair Havens Ministries, and will be working with both teams to build systems that will improve the planning, financial, compliance and reporting strength of these two organizations. We believe he will be a great asset to the Kingdom work of God here at MBC as well as to the Christ-centred camp and conference movement across Canada.
Jamie will begin his role at MBC in mid-August, 2009. Your support and encouragement to Jamie as he joins the team is appreciated.
